Our idea of sustainability

Welcome to our adebar “Corporate Social Responsibility” page. With this page we would like to make the adebar sustainability concept more tangible for you as our customers. We would like to show you how we are concerned with this topic, what we do, where we stand and how we can work together on this path to more sustainability in the event industry. You will also find our ideas, actions and thoughts about our social responsibility in the sense of sustainable business. In the adebar portfolio, particularly sustainable events and supporting programs will be marked with this logo in the future:

green office

We spend the majority of our working time in the office - we conceptualize, schedule and make arrangements with our service partners in order to plan your event perfectly and have a plan B to Z for all eventualities. We do all of this as sustainably as possible.

  • 100% green electricity
  • digital contracts & signatures
  • Use very little to no paper and if so, then recycled paper
  • In our team kitchen you will find reusable cans and refillable bottles
  • Our coffee always bears the Fairtrade seal and the milk is also organic
  • Avoiding unnecessary journeys
  • Video meetings with customers and colleagues
  • Carpooling to work

We are definitely green – we are noticeably different.

grune How to get there

Traveling to an event naturally accounts for a large part of the Co2 emissions of an entire event. When traveling to your event, we naturally pay attention to easy accessibility by public transport when choosing destinations and locations. Possible variants of a more sustainable journey include:

  • Deutsche Bahn event ticket
  • Flixbus and train
  • Form carpools
  • E-buses
  • Bicycle transfer between locations
  • Compensation for Co2 emissions when traveling by car and plane

green best practice

We have seen sustainability as a central and important topic in the event industry for many years and are proud that we have been part of fairpflichtet since 2013. Fairpflichtet is a sustainability code of self-commitment in the event world. The initiative is not only committed to ecological goals, but also to economic and social goals. On the homepage of fair duty Every two years you will find our progress report on the topic, which documents how we are getting closer to our goals year after year. Another point is the further training to become a sustainability consultant, which our deputy managing director Kristin Teschner has already completed since 2013 and is therefore available to you as a competent contact person in matters of sustainability. Our goal is to qualify additional sustainability consultants in the team in the future in order to be more broadly positioned in the sustainable planning of your events and to combine several views and opinions on the topic and in this way to create an even better and transparent structure . Since the beginning of 2023, we have also created an internal working group from which these lines that you are currently reading also emerged.

green team building

Are you planning a team building and would like it to be organized and carried out as sustainably as possible? With us this is absolutely no problem!

We have put our team building and all other programs we offer through their paces and can present our selection of sustainable programs to you here. Of course, it always depends on the individual conditions how green team building is, but our experienced project managers will be happy to support you in finding the needle in the haystack, because as you can see, you have the choice between a variety of offers can be different and individual, like you and your guests.

Take the classic “archery” for example. The equipment we need to carry it out is primarily not consumables, which is a plus point. Sure, something breaks here and there, but here too we repair things first before we buy new ones. Another point that puts archery up on our sustainability scale is that we have relatively little transportation effort. Furthermore, the equipment does not produce any Co2 emissions during use, as would be the case, for example, when working with digital devices. And the best thing about archery? The ambition is quickly awakened - with our secret tricks we entice even the last participants to concentrate with excitement on the target.

green Performance partner

You want something and we make it possible! In many cases, however, this is only possible with our committed and qualified service partners. Since we also offer our service throughout Germany and Europe, we were often dependent on service partners with whom we had not worked before. Of course, we tested these thoroughly before placing the order and at the same time secured the advantage of independence. Thanks to our approach, which has proven itself over the last 25 years, we have a large network of partners who are happy to support us in our plans to make the events greener.

Do you want to know which tree the apple that you are currently eating as a snack while archery grew on? No problem - we'll figure it out!

We are good - we are noticeably different. Are you too?

(share) responsibility

We adebars see sustainability not only in the context of environmental protection, but also in a much broader sense. We value social interaction, of course also on protecting the environment, but also on the well-being of animals and biodiversity.
So we looked for regional, national and international partners who we could recommend to our customers if they were particularly interested in doing something good. Be it the more than important preservation of the moors, the manufacture of wheelchairs for children in developing countries or the care of street dogs: with our partners we will find the right social commitment for you. Plan your event with us and make the world a little bit better at the same time

We will be happy to advise you on which project is most suitable for you and connect you!

Waste prevention = green

Waste avoidance is a central issue in sustainability. Everyone knows what happens to the waste that ends up in our environment. This makes it all the more important for us to dispose of the waste generated at our events professionally and responsibly and, in the best case, to avoid it before it even occurs. Since a large part of our programs and team building events take place in nature, we have made it our mission to inform our participants about waste disposal at the start of the event and to set up sufficient trash cans that also enable appropriate separation.
We take the cleanup of the beach on which we hold our Beach Olympics as a matter of course and would like to pass this on to our customers.
Of course, this also applies to every other outdoor location that we use to hold our events - we take responsibility!
It's also a great idea if you make your own souvenirs from the "used" gin bottles that you drank while gin-bossing - upcycling, waste avoidance and sustainability all in one.
We promise, we'll get creative.

That's a promise: we'll get creative.
