Incentive Leipzig
An incentive to Leipzig, the largest city in Saxony, has a lot to offer visitors. “I praise my Leipzig” – this is the star of your incentive trip to Leipzig. Leipzig is like “little Paris and educates its people,” said Goethe. As a cultural center steeped in history, Leipzig was home to well-known musicians such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Richard Wagner. To this day, Leipzig is a city of poets and thinkers that invites you to learn more about its history and become a part of it. But Leipzig is also modern and innovative. The Leipzig Book Fair is known worldwide and opens its doors to authors and interested parties every year. Extensive green areas such as the Rosenthal and the “Clarapark” create a good urban climate and space to relax. Sights such as the Völkerschlachtdenkmal, the Thomaskirche or the City Hochhaus (“Uniriese”) are popular program items on your incentive trip. We have already prepared exciting programs for you.

Arrival and traffic
Leipzig is centrally integrated into the federal motorway network through the A9, A14 and A38 (Leipzig-Göttingen) motorways. The Leipzig districts can be reached directly from the motorway junctions. Leipzig-Halle Airport is located directly at the Schkeuditzer Kreuz motorway junction (A 9, A 14). Located in the city center, Leipzig Central Station is also the ideal starting point for further exploration of the city. From here it's easy and convenient to take the “Bimmel”, which is “Leipzigerisch” for tram, to all of Leipzig's districts.
Music capital of Germany
Leipzig is not only considered the music capital of Germany, but also one of the most famous music cities in all of Europe. Johann Sebastian Bach, Richard Wagner and Robert Schumann, all well-known names and all once worked in Leipzig. Richard Wagner was even born in the city and then began his musical training in the city. Also well known is the St. Thomas Choir, one of the oldest choirs in the world, which was once directed by Johann Sebastian Bach himself. The ensemble still performs several times a week in St. Thomas Church. The Leipzig “Notenspur” leads directly through the city center and takes you past the composers' homes and places of work and is always worth seeing.
The old cotton mill
At the beginning of the 20th century, the old cotton mill was still the largest in continental Europe. Since the beginning of the 21st century, however, it has become one of the most interesting production and exhibition sites for contemporary art and culture in Europe. You can now find a hundred artist studios, fourteen galleries, workshops, architects, designers, jewelry and fashion makers and many other exciting spaces here. Painters, photographers, sculptors, media and conceptual artists work in their studios and are always open to professional discussion.
Sustainable Leipzig
A third of Leipzig consists of parks, green spaces and riparian forest. The riparian forest is the largest inner-city forest area of this type in Europe. It's not without reason that Leipzig is one of the greenest cities in Germany. Thanks to the good connections and the numerous options, such as e-bikes, car sharing and the like, you are always mobile and just a stone's throw away from adventure. You will also find a large selection of shops for fair fashion and regional products, organic markets and unpackaged shops. A visit to Leipzig also promises a lot for the taste buds. Numerous cafés, restaurants and markets leave nothing to be desired and have a lot to offer, especially when it comes to sustainability.
