Munich – cosmopolitan city with a heart

Munich can be reached by land or air. On land, almost all trains and many buses stop at the main train station, Munich's most important transport hub. All S-Bahn lines as well as some bus/tram and subway lines run from Munich Central Station to the various districts of Munich. The ZOB Munich is one of the most modern bus stations in Germany with a direct connection to a Europe-wide network of long-distance bus destinations. Munich Airport is the second largest airport in Germany, from here you can take S-Bahn or shuttle buses to your hotel. 

Culinary delights

It is the largest folk festival in the world and attracts millions of people from all over the world to Munich every year. The locals also affectionately call the Oktoberfest the “Wiesn” because it takes place annually on the Theresienwiese. Here, from September to October, people toast and celebrate every day for more than two weeks. In addition to almost 40 beer tents, there are also over a hundred rides available to guests. The Oktoberfest doesn't start in October as you would expect, but always at the end of September, this simply has to do with the better weather guarantee.
