Incentive Sardinia

my island beauty

The second largest island in Italy and the Mediterranean impresses with its diverse landscapes of meadows and forests, valleys and plateaus, mountains and rocky coasts, beaches and bays. The rugged cliffs of Arbatax, the granite rocks shaped by wind and weather, from which the imagination often sees bears, lions and other animals, the lush green interior of the island, allow you to dream and relax. Culture and enjoyment are also not neglected on this unique island. Modern hotel landscapes with dinner locations for your incentive trip make Sardinia a sought-after destination for business events and team events. Come with us on the incentive trip: whether you are interested in sport, culture or cuisine, we have the right supporting program for you.

Sardinia – A harsh beauty with many faces

Arrival and traffic
From Germany you can easily reach the holiday paradise in the Mediterranean with a flight time of just 2 hours. The three most important airports on the island, which are also served by international flights, are in Cagliari, Alghero and Olbia. In Germany, planes fly to Sardinia from Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Cologne, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. From the airport you can then take a private transfer to the desired location. We organize everything so that you can arrive effortlessly and without any problems.

Typical Sardinian food
The 5 most famous dishes in Sardinia are seafood with saffron fregola, zuppa gallurese, porcheddu, spaghetti with sea urchin and bottarga. Fregola, which means bread crumbs in Italian, is a type of pasta made from semolina that is popular in Italy. The semolina is formed into small balls. There are hundreds of recipes for different ways to cook fregola, but the most delicious is made with seafood. Zuppa Gallurese or Zuppa Cuata is a typical dish of the Gallura region in the north of Sardinia and this typical dish is not a form of lasagna. Porcheddu is nothing more than a suckling pig and is roasted on a spit over the fire for several hours, seasoned with myrtle and then served on a cork tray. Spaghetti with sea urchin can only be eaten from November to April, after which it is strictly forbidden to eat sea urchin. The Bottarga comes from a small village called Cabras. The mullet eggs are air-dried, then pressed and finally smoked.

Architectural monuments & burial sites
Sardinia is rich in archaeological treasures, which provide an insight into the still partially unknown early cultural development of the Sardinians. Even today, some aspects of the Nuragic culture, which is unique and can only be found in Sardinia, still seem particularly mysterious. The Nuragic culture developed around 1600 BC. BC during the Bronze Age from the Bonnanaro culture. It was designed after the typical towers Nuraghi, named. Nuraghes are prehistoric stone buildings that only exist in this type and quantity in Sardinia.

Sustainable Sardinia
The island is home to one of the richest ecosystems in the Mediterranean, with vast, intact landscapes between the sea and the mountains, with an exceptional biodiversity native to the numerous natural parks and marine reserves. Fausto Noce Park, for example, is the city's green lung. With eighteen hectares of green space, it was named the second best green project in Italy in 2005. Sardinia is also one of the five blue zones where people live longer than average worldwide.

Why an incentive in Sardinia?
Not only is it perfect for eating ice cream, sunbathing and relaxing, but also a true sports paradise. Due to its beautiful coastlines and mild water temperatures, the island is particularly popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts of all kinds. As the second largest island in the Mediterranean, Sardinia is a truly impressive island. In addition to a wealth of history with ruins and historical buildings from a wide variety of cultures and dynasties, Sardinia also offers wonderful natural landscapes with the most beautiful beaches, bays and grottos. So ideal for an unforgettable incentive with your team. Get in touch with us at adebar and we will organize your dream incentive with unique supporting programs in Sardinia.
