TukTuks
Autorickshaws, also known as TukTuks, have been used to transport people in Lisbon since 2010. Up to 3-6 people fit in a TukTuk and the drivers are also your guides. A different kind of city tour - enjoy the wind in your hair and local anecdotes from your driver. Many of the vehicles are now equipped with an electric motor. 
TukTuks have now become a symbol of Lisbon, similar to the trams in the city. 

Sustainable Lisbon
In 2020, Lisbon was awarded the title of “Green Capital of Europe”. They focus on expanding public transport, reducing water and energy consumption and expanding green spaces in the city. The city has set itself the goal of reducing CO by 2035²- to reduce emissions by 55% and is relying on the expansion of the public transport route network, which has so far been neglected. City taxes are also charged to guests for overnight stays; a certain portion of these are put towards the environmental goals.
