At a glance

The French Riviera brings on that holiday feeling, even on a company trip. It owes its name to the poet Stéphen Liégeard, who published a book called "Côte d’Azur". Many people think of high society, roaring engines, big yachts, red carpets and champagne.

Away from the luxury, you will find bizarre rock formations, purple lavender fields and quiet hideaways. Add to that good restaurants and hotels, culture and history. That is plenty of material for incentives and team building.

The Côte d’Azur, the blue diva

  • Getting there

The quickest way to arrive is by plane. In less than three hours you can fly from all major German and European airports to Nice or Cannes. From there, trains run along the Mediterranean coast.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is the third largest in France. Around 300 aircraft take off and land here every day. A free bus shuttles between the two terminals.

  • The French Riviera

The Côte d’Azur is also known as the French Riviera (opens in a new tab). It includes Nice with the Promenade des Anglais, Cannes with the famous Croisette, Saint-Tropez, Antibes and Roquebrune. Also the Cap Ferrat peninsula, the Îles d’Hyères, Monaco with its casino and Menton.

Azure sea, long beaches, mountain villages and great buildings are packed close together here. The Côte d’Azur is one of the most beautiful parts of Provence and has everything an event by the water needs.

  • The perfume town

Grasse lies in the hills, just 25 km north of Nice. It is regarded as the world capital of perfume and flowers. Lots of small shops, including numerous perfumeries, invite you to browse.

At the perfume museum and on factory tours you learn a great deal about how perfume is made. You find out, for example, what distinguishes parfum, eau de parfum and eau de toilette. Afterwards you can have your own favourite scent created.

  • What makes the Riviera appealing for groups

Besides the beaches and the atmosphere, it is the light. Artists such as Van Gogh, Matisse and Chagall fell in love with it, and some world-famous paintings were created here. There are many options for team activities and a colourful supporting programme. We at adebar organise everything so that you can simply enjoy yourself on site.
