At a glance

Välkommen till Malmö! Sweden's third-largest city thrives on fascinating encounters, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of ideas meet here. Chefs from all over the world shape its young and diverse restaurant scene. Artists leave their mark on the cityscape, and bright minds keep thinking the city forward.

If you like architecture, you'll be in your element. Bold new buildings such as the striking Turning Torso stand next to beautiful old ones. The Øresund begins right at the beach promenade, and there are plenty of parks for relaxing or getting active.

Seen enough köttbullar? Then cross the Øresund Bridge to Copenhagen and treat yourself to a Danish ice cream. In Malmö, modern life and tradition come together, young and old, Sweden and Denmark.

Out and about in Malmö

  • Getting around

Eight main bus routes connect the districts. Many people prefer to cycle, and bikes account for around 25 per cent of all traffic. With almost 500 kilometres of cycle paths and 28 cycle lanes, Malmö rightly ranks among the most bike-friendly cities in Sweden.

  • Architecture

At first glance Malmö may look industrial. Look more closely, though, and you'll find Renaissance buildings, modern design and well-preserved 19th-century architecture. Just a few minutes by bike from the futuristic Turning Torso lies the historic Gamla Staden district.

Here you'll find the market square, the Gothic St Peter's Church and the town hall in Dutch Renaissance style. Keep your eyes open: there are remarkable sculptures all over the city.

  • Why an incentive trip to Malmö?

In Malmö you and your team get to know Sweden from a new side. Modern life and tradition meet on every corner, in the culture and on the plate. You can switch off on the beach promenade. And anyone who wants to be active won't be bored in Sweden's smallest big city either.

What our clients say

  • The event in Rostock was the ultimate show, with everything that goes with it. Starting with the evening on the ship, the delicious catering and the “cultural” accompaniment by Hein, everything was just right. Even the weather played along. We could never have done it without your support.
