At a glance

South of Cologne, on the Rhine, lies the former federal capital. Bonn is a strong choice for team building events. The city has more than 2,000 years of history to share, and it takes its guests on a journey through times gone by. The present and plans for the future get their fair share of attention too.

The result is team events that look back into the past and forward at the same time.

Bonn, a metropolis of culture

Hardly any other city packs so much history, art and culture into such a small space. There is the Bundeskunsthalle with its changing exhibitions. And there is the Museum Mile, which is easy to explore by bike. The route is 12 kilometres long, starts and ends at the market square and takes in the city's most visited sights.

  • Ludwig van Beethoven

Beethoven's birthplace is one of the most visited music museums in the world and among Germany's top 100 sights. The permanent exhibition is designed as an interactive museum. Its treasury offers new insights into the composer's life.

  • The Bonn Republic and former capital

For more than four decades, Bonn was the capital of the Federal Republic. Along the banks of the Rhine stretches the former parliamentary and government quarter, a symbol of successful German democracy. After the war, the Bonn Republic stood for the rise of diplomacy and democracy. Places such as Palais Schaumburg and the Chancellor's Bungalow tell that story. Numerous exhibits still recall the post-war period and reunification today.

  • Bonn for history buffs and culture lovers

If you are interested in history and culture, Bonn and its surroundings are the right place. Here you can get to the bottom of the past while looking ahead at the same time. Get to know the new face of the former capital or go hiking in the Siebengebirge. Sporty guests and culture lovers alike will be well catered for.
