At a glance

The Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula lies between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden (coastal lagoons) and has kept much of its wild character. Long beaches of fine sand, untamed forests and small fishing villages shape the landscape. Follow the rustling of the pines behind the dunes. We "adebars" have our head office in Wieck a. Darß and love showing you our home.

Between Rostock and Stralsund, almost everything is called "Darß" when it comes to tourism. The national park rangers will explain why the peninsula actually has a three-part name. The former seafaring and fishing village of Prerow looks back on 100 years of seaside tradition. In Born you will find brightly painted farmhouses and captains' houses, and as early as 1892 the landscape drew many artists to the Baltic resort of Ahrenshoop.

An incentive here combines nature at first hand with sport and relaxation. That makes for good conditions for team building.

Fischland-Darß-Zingst, wild and beautiful

The cliffs at Ahrenshoop, the largest national park in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the 14-kilometre Weststrand: the peninsula has a great deal of nature and quite a few untouched stretches. To this day, the Weststrand is barely developed for tourism. You rarely get closer to nature than this. Many places can only be reached on foot, by horse-drawn carriage or by bike, so you will not need a car here.

  • Geography of the peninsula

The peninsula consists of three parts. Fischland historically still belongs to Mecklenburg, the Darß is already part of Western Pomerania (the border runs along the Grenzweg in Ahrenshoop), and then there is Zingst. Fischland is an eroding coastline and would probably have disappeared long ago without coastal engineering.

The northernmost point is the Darßer Ort with its lighthouse. It is best reached on foot, by bike or by horse-drawn carriage, and from there you look out over the open Baltic Sea.

  • Artistic Ahrenshoop

The Baltic resort marks the transition from Fischland to the Darß, and so between Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania. At the end of the 19th century, German artists founded a painting school and artists' colony here. Since then, countless painters, sculptors and other artists from Germany and abroad have found a retreat in Ahrenshoop. Many paintings were inspired by the peninsula.

Visit one of the changing exhibitions or book a guided tour of the artists' colony with us.

  • Getting around the peninsula

So far, the peninsula is not particularly easy to reach by public transport. Once you have arrived, though, you can leave the car behind. By bike or on foot, you will often reach your destination faster and in a more relaxed way.

  • What awaits your team on the peninsula

Nature, beach, sunshine. Need we say more? Families have been holidaying here for generations, and the peninsula does teams good too. Shift down a gear, enjoy the peace of the forest or the beach and let the sun sweeten your day.

What our clients say

  • Everything worked wonderfully and was perfectly organised by you. It was also great that you were always available and that we received an answer to every question within a very short time. We are happy to recommend adebar!

  • The fact that the equipment van was broken into and all the kit for the event was stolen is force majeure. No event runs exactly to plan. Improvisation is everything, and at our event adebar GmbH had to master this supreme discipline within 3 hours. Thank you so much for this incredible troubleshooting!

  • This was the second company event we have experienced with you. The planning, preparation and support were perfect once again, and from start to the grand finale with the “medal ceremony” it was enormous fun.
