    The season hardly matters for an incentive trip to Kassel. In winter there are fascinating museums and the well-known Christmas market with mulled wine and hot chocolate. In summer you can wander through the city or travel a few kilometres further to the clear waters of the Edersee.

    documenta is the exhibition of contemporary art that takes place in Kassel every five years. Because it lasts 100 days, it is also known as the "museum of 100 days". It is well worth a visit for art connoisseurs and anyone with an interest.
