Fencing training just like the Olympians!

Fencing is fun and full of action. You can look forward to team building with elegance and athleticism. Every member of the team has to show speed, skill, fair play and discipline so that the group can win together.

Fencing teaches you to think ahead. That is good practice for upcoming projects at work. Kit, mask, sabre, épée, electronic scoring and referees all demand total concentration. This is what sets fencing apart from many other leisure sports.

What you experience

The format and equipment of the training match what professionals use in Olympic fencing. We set everything up for your team in a large hall or sports hall. During the bouts, it's all about full concentration and effort.

In the breaks you catch your breath and watch the others. Applause for a well-won point and cheers for your own team are all part of it and strengthen the sense of togetherness. The teams give it their all when the call goes up: prêts, allez, touché!

At a glance

  • Welcome by the fencing coaches and a brief overview of the training.
  • Handing out fencing kit and getting changed.
  • Splitting into teams.
  • Teaching the movements, strategies, etiquette and rules of conduct in fencing. This is followed by practice bouts under the coaches' guidance and a final tournament.
  • The hall or sports hall is prepared with fencing pistes, seating and refreshing drinks. Depending on the length and time of day, snacks can be planned for the breaks.
  • Farewell and awards ceremony together.
