A mystery tour

We send you off into the unknown: a Trabi rally is an entertaining team event for your supporting programme. In the candy-coloured cult car from the former GDR (East Germany), some of them convertibles, you head out through the countryside. And you are the one at the wheel!

We plan a maximum of 2–3 people per Trabant. That way everyone can drive and enjoy their time behind the wheel. Beforehand there is an expert briefing so that you set off well prepared.

Completely analogue, you start out with a carefully prepared road book to selected places. Perhaps the rally leads to an idyllic picnic spot by a lake. Or to a golf course, where you can tee off a few times. Along the way, fun tasks await that boost team spirit and are great fun.

This outing strengthens collaboration and communication in the team. Our professional guides accompany the rally and make sure everything runs smoothly. You can concentrate fully on driving. A nostalgic journey back in time on four wheels!

What you will experience on this cult team outing

Speed is not what matters on the Trabi rally. It is about exploring the landscape and the sights along the route together. Anyone who likes can stop at the stations along the way and solve exciting tasks there.

For many people it is their first ride in a Trabi. The cult East German car is known for its idiosyncratic design and its charm. It does take a little "sensitivity" to cope with its quirks.

During the briefing, our expert staff help you so that everyone is well prepared. Important: the German road traffic regulations (StVO) apply. Drivers pay for any parking tickets themselves. At the end there is a day full of fun that noticeably strengthens how the team works together.

How much does the Trabi rally cost per person or per vehicle?
The costs depend on the group size, the duration and any special requests. As a rule, we calculate per vehicle. That way you get the best offer for your group.
How many participants in total can take part in the Trabi rally?
We recommend 10 to 30 people spread across several Trabis. We usually plan 2–3 people per vehicle. That way everyone can drive themselves and be actively involved. But we have also run rallies with up to 100 participants. It is just a question of organisation :).
What briefing do we get before the rally starts?
Before you set off, our expert staff give you a thorough briefing. You learn everything you need to know about driving a Trabi, the safety rules and the route. So everyone starts well prepared.
What special tasks have to be completed at the stops during the rally?
Fun tasks await you at the stops. They boost team spirit and are great fun. We work out the stops together with you and adapt them to the location. After all, a Trabi rally in Berlin looks different from one in Leipzig or on the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg.
Do participants need any special driving qualifications to take part in the rally?
No, you do not need any special driving skills. The Trabi is easy to handle, and our team prepares everyone well for driving it. What you do need, however, is a valid driving licence. German road traffic regulations (StVO) apply.
What about food during the rally? Do we have to bring our own snacks, or is something provided?
As a full-service event agency, we are happy to take care of this too. We pack picnic baskets for the road. Or we organise exclusive catering at an idyllic country estate, by the sea, in a restaurant or at another venue. You concentrate on driving, and we take care of the food.
What safety precautions are in place for the rally?
Safety has top priority. We check all Trabis for roadworthiness before the rally. In the briefing we explain the safety rules so that everyone feels comfortable during the drive. The German road traffic regulations (StVO) also apply.
Where does the Trabi rally go, and which sights will we visit?
The route leads through beautiful areas and past various sights. We set the exact destinations in advance and adapt them to your wishes.
Can we combine the Trabi rally with other activities or programmes?
Yes, the Trabi rally fits well into a larger programme. We combine it with workshops, team building activities or other events, for example. We will be happy to put your event together with you.
What happens if someone gets a parking ticket or is caught by a speed camera during the drive? Who is responsible?
Participants pay for any traffic offences during the rally themselves, e.g. parking tickets or speed camera fines. We expressly point out that the German road traffic regulations (StVO) apply.
How do we know which way to go?
There are several options. We can provide a classic printed road book. It gives clear instructions and interesting information about the route. Or we just give you the addresses of the stations. Then the participants plan the tour themselves and decide spontaneously where to stop.
