Fun and action in winter too

Olympics in winter? Of course. We bring exercise, motivation and fun to the cold days and chase away the winter blues while we are at it.

We adapt our stations to the season. Instead of volleyball, for example, there is curling, a reindeer rodeo, blind tasting, a ski jump simulator and much more. Collaboration counts in every activity, and that is exactly what strengthens team spirit and motivation.

Participants play in small teams and compete against a different team at each station. The teams rotate so that every team visits every station. That makes for a smooth flow and fair competition. Each station is a bit of a challenge and fun at the same time.

At the end of the day there is an awards ceremony for the best teams. Here we recognise everyone's achievements and carry the momentum into upcoming projects.

We put the activities together individually for you. With our full-service project management, we take care of everything else so that your team will be talking about this winter's day for a long time.

What you will experience at this team event

You experience winter olympics tailored to your corporate philosophy and your team building goals. Active and calmer elements alternate so that everyone can join in. Chairs of the board, managing directors, crane operators and factory staff meet as equals here. All that counts is collecting as many points as possible together.

Curling, a reindeer rodeo, blind tasting and a ski jump simulator provide variety and plenty of laughter. In small teams and friendly competition, the atmosphere soon warms up.

The highlight is the awards ceremony, where the best teams are celebrated. A great moment to raise a glass to the day you have shared.

The winter olympics at a glance

  • Short welcome from the team leaders.
  • This is followed by a briefing on the winter olympics.
  • Handing out the olympics matrix and dividing the group into smaller teams.
  • The teams then spread out across the stations.
  • There is a supervisor at each station. They explain the activity, act as referee, record times and answer questions.
  • Then the teams rotate.
  • The base is a winter camp with cosy seating, fitting music, fire bowls and a small tent with sweet snacks and hot drinks.
  • At the end, everyone comes together once more for a short farewell.
  • Depending on the scope, the evaluation and awards ceremony follow straight afterwards.

How much do the winter olympics cost?
That depends on several factors: venue costs, number of participants, length of the event and the choice of stations. The more people take part, the cheaper it becomes per head, because we can form larger teams. Venue costs depend on the location and facilities. A full day costs differently from a half day. And each station needs its own equipment and staff, so the choice of stations also affects the price. Contact us directly. We will look at your circumstances and give you a clear overview of the costs. That way we plan winter olympics that suit your team goals and your budget.
What stations are offered for the team event?
You choose from many stations, depending on your request and availability. So everyone finds something that suits them. A small selection: Curling: a winter classic that calls for team spirit and precision. Reindeer rodeo: skill and balance are needed here. Kite building: the teams build their own kites and fly them. Drumming: the shared rhythm brings people together. Campfire and stick bread: cosy and sociable. Cross golf: golf off the fairway, for anyone who likes it unconventional. Indoor golf: concentration on obstacles indoors. Ski simulator: the feeling of the slopes without the slopes. Quiz: tricky questions and puzzles for the whole team. Archery: aiming with a steady hand. Disc golf: a mix of golf and frisbee. And there are many more stations. Tell us what you have in mind, and we will put together the right programme for your team.
Can the team building be combined with dinner?
Of course. After the team event, you round off the day with a sociable dinner. Relaxed seating, a cosy atmosphere and time to talk about what you have experienced. If you wish, we can also provide entertainment during the meal, for example with interactive games or musical interludes. We design the evening to your wishes. In a relaxed setting, colleagues find it easier to get talking than in the office. Ask us for a quote that covers both team building and dinner.
Do the olympics have to be competitive?
No. But our many years of experience show that lots of teams love a competition. As soon as points are being collected, people want an awards ceremony too. The competitive spirit is often huge, so it pays to think about prizes in good time. If you would rather plan without competition, we adapt the event. If you wish, we also change the title so that nobody expects anything different. The programme items can be designed flexibly. Tell us what suits your company and your team, and we will plan the event accordingly.
Where does the team event take place?
Almost anywhere. We organise the winter olympics in ski resorts, in hotels, in function rooms, on the coast or right in the city centre. Because the concept is flexible, we adapt it to your location. With experience and full-service project management, we make sure everything runs smoothly, wherever it is. Get in touch and we will find the right place together.
How many participants can take part in the winter olympics?
The winter olympics work for small teams of 20 or more just as well as for large groups of 200 participants and above. We plan so that everyone can actively join in.
How is participants' travel to and from the event organised?
Exactly as you wish. Options include group transport by coach, shuttle services or recommendations for travelling individually. If you like, we can coordinate and book the travel so that everyone arrives on time and relaxed.
Which weather conditions could affect the event, and what alternatives are there?
The winter olympics are made for cold weather. Even so, a heavy snowstorm or freezing rain can slow them down. That is why we discuss a plan B in advance. If nothing is possible outdoors, we switch to an indoor venue or adapt the programme.
Can we link the event to a particular company message or theme?
Yes, gladly. We combine your winter olympics with a company message or a theme. To do this, we work closely with you so that your brand values and communication goals are visible in the event.
How are the teams formed and put together?
However suits you best. We draw lots for the teams, divide them by department or function, or take special requests into account. What matters to us is a balanced mix in which good collaboration can develop.
Is there accommodation near the venue?
Yes. We recommend accommodation nearby and can also book it for you if you wish. We work with many hotels for this. Often the hotel has already been chosen. In that case, after agreeing with you and the hotel, we use the grounds or a separate room in the hotel for the team event. That way accommodation and event are right next to each other.
Which languages do the hosts and supervisors on site speak?
As a rule, German and English. If you need other languages, we can provide additional support on request so that everyone can follow the event easily.
