For true sea dogs

This outdoor incentive will tempt even the most confirmed homebodies out from their armchairs. You choose a harbour, for example on the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg. There, a genuine fisherman welcomes your team.

Alongside plenty of fisherman's yarns, he tells you a great deal about fish species, plants and wildlife, and about the region and its people too. Fishing as a profession is becoming ever rarer. Many cutters now only go out for excursions and deep-sea angling. With this team building event, you see a fisherman at work and become one yourself for the day.

The fresh sea air invites you to take a deep breath, and everyday life feels far away. A bit of luck is part of it, of course. Once a fish is on the hook, the team hauls it on board together.

Anyone who now thinks they can sit back and let the rocking of the waves carry them through the day is mistaken. They will soon have a filleting knife pressed into their hand. The fish is expertly gutted while still on board. Then, depending on the season, the crew gets cold or hot drinks and a platter of smoked fish to keep them going.

What you can expect

If you don't fancy sailing or a tall ship, the fishing cutter is just right for you. You head out onto the Baltic Sea and let the fresh breeze blow around you. Simply turn your face to the sun or let the fisherman explain how fishing used to be done.
