Sail along, experience and grow together

Historic tall ships are also known as windjammers or traditional sailing ships. On a ship like this, your team sets course together. Add fresh Baltic Sea air, wide blue horizons and a cheerful event team.

Depending on the group size, we charter the right windjammer. You can sail for half a day or a full day. The crew looks after your guests with drinks and good food.

Wind in the sails, sun on your face. On board, team spirit and a thirst for adventure come together. As you cruise across the Baltic Sea together, cohesion grows all by itself.

Sailing team event: out on the wide Baltic Sea

On the tall ship, your team strengthens cohesion and collaboration right out on the Baltic Sea. Experienced sailing instructors accompany you. Together you set the sails and head out to sea.

You hear the rush of the waves and see the Baltic coast from the water. You do not need any previous experience. Beginners are just as welcome as experienced sailors.

What will you experience on the tall ship?

Join us on a trip across the Baltic Sea. Your team gets to know sailing and spends time together at sea. The view stretches far across the water.

Our experienced skippers are on hand with help and advice. Cast off!

Why does a sailing trip work so well as a team event?
On a tall ship you leave your usual working environment behind. The sea and the open expanse give a sense of freedom and adventure. That sparks creativity and team spirit. Free from everyday stress and distractions, your team gains new perspectives and focuses on shared goals. On board there are tasks that can only be solved as a team. While sailing, everyone learns to rely on each other and communicate clearly. That strengthens cohesion, later on in everyday work too. Every person contributes to the success of the sailing day and feels that the team needs them. That also motivates each individual, and it lasts.
What happens if bad weather affects our planned team event on the tall ship?
We take the safety of our guests very seriously. If the weather endangers the crew and the ship, the trip unfortunately cannot go ahead as planned. For this case, we work out a plan B with you in advance. We then move the programme onto land. That could be instructive workshops, creative team challenges or a culinary journey. Your goals for the team event stay in focus, and so does the enjoyment of the day together. We plan the alternative programme together with you, to suit your wishes. So your team event is a success even when the weather is changeable.
How long does a trip on the tall ship last?
You can book your team event on board for half a day or a full day. We plan the trip carefully and tailor the activities to your team. They range from sailing on the open sea to team tasks on board. With half a day, you leave work behind for a few hours. On a full-day trip your people can simply unwind or roll up their sleeves and help out. We design the day to your wishes. Everyone learns something about sailing along the way. Above all, though, they learn to work as a team and trust each other. The shared memories last a long time.
What should I do about seasickness?
Opinions on this vary widely. Please do not come on board on an empty stomach. We recommend staying on deck and looking at the horizon. Avoid enclosed spaces. Drink enough water and stay in the fresh air. If possible, concentrate on the sailing.
How much does a trip on the tall ship cost?
The price depends on your team's wishes. Factors include a half or full day, the number of participants, the location and the catering and activities you choose. For an exact quote, it is best to contact us directly. We plan the team event closely with you and break down all the costs transparently.
How many people fit on board the ship?
That depends on the size and type of the tall ship. Depending on the facilities and the legal safety requirements, there is usually room for between 20 and 100 people or more. That is enough for small to medium-sized groups. We will be happy to advise you and choose the tall ship that suits your group.
What additional activities can I do at a tall ship team event?
There are many options that strengthen motivation and cohesion. In team workshops on sailing, your people learn to sail and help with navigation and steering. There are also knot-tying competitions and joint manoeuvres. Both encourage coordination and communication. A photo competition with maritime motifs is also possible. It challenges your team's creative side and provides pictures to remember the day by. We carefully integrate each of these activities into your tall ship event.
Where does the tall ship trip start?
We set the starting point according to your wishes. Options include the Baltic Sea coast, the North Sea or the Mediterranean. Tell us which region you prefer, and we will organise the right trip. If you wish, we can also take care of hotels and travel. We book comfortable accommodation and plan the transfers. So you can concentrate fully on the team building and the sailing.
