Seminars at sea

Coaching and team building at sea is hands-on training aboard an ocean-going yacht. It is an innovative tool for staff and team development. This team event strengthens team dynamics in an environment that both inspires and challenges.

On board, team members meet each other for real and have to act together. In our experiential coaching, we draw direct comparisons with how people work together in the company.

What you experience during this innovative coaching and training

What does the coaching on the yacht cost?
The cost depends on the group size, the length of the programme and your requirements. Our pricing is transparent and we will send you a tailored quote that fits your budget.
What is the ideal number of participants for the coaching?
For real team dynamics to develop, we recommend at least 10 people. The upper limit depends on the size of the yacht. We plan flexibly so that larger groups can come along too.
Do participants need sailing experience?
No, sailing experience is not necessary. The programme suits all levels of experience. Our experienced skippers and coaches guide every participant through the activities.
What happens if someone gets seasick?
We recommend finding out about seasickness remedies beforehand and bringing suitable medication if needed. During the coaching we take breaks and look after anyone who isn't feeling well.
Can the coaching be combined with other activities on land?
Yes. The coaching on the yacht combines well with team building activities or workshops on land. Time on the water alternates with time ashore, which keeps the programme varied.
How does the coaching on the yacht work?
On board, participants work through practical exercises and tasks. These focus on communication, collaboration and solving problems together. All activities are built around plenty of exchange and teamwork.
How is catering organised during the coaching?
We make sure there is plenty to eat and drink, from snacks to full meals. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements so that everyone feels comfortable.
What are the advantages of coaching on the water compared with traditional formats?
On the water, everyone sees things from a new perspective. That changes the team dynamic and strengthens cohesion well beyond the day itself. Wind and waves create an environment in which you learn a great deal.
Is further support available after the coaching?
Yes. We offer follow-up sessions. These focus on transferring what was learned and the insights from the programme into everyday working life.
